On June 23, 2026, our Founder and Managing Director Ludwig Liagre, PhD, took the stage at the Regenerative Agriculture Forum 2026 in Piracicaba, São Paulo.

During the event, he moderated the session “Partnerships for Regeneration: Aligning Business and Nature.”

He shared the panel with Ulrich Kuhlmann (CABI), Analí Bustos (Naia Trust), Alida Maria Fleury Bellandi (Guarany), Alain Nguyen (Nestlé), and Isabela Pascoal Becker (Daterra Sustainability).

Why This Session on Regenerative Agriculture Mattered

The panel examined how strategic partnerships can catalyze sustainability across value chains. Building trust takes time, and establishing shared accountability often creates friction. The speakers addressed these operational challenges while tackling a pivotal question: how can companies, farmers, and ecosystems share gains more equitably?

With global food systems accounting for nearly a third of greenhouse gas emissions, regenerative agriculture provides a pragmatic pathway to:

  • Restore soil health and safeguard freshwater resources.
  • Strengthen climate resilience throughout global supply chains.

Workshop on the Rio Changemakers Initiative

In parallel with the Forum, Ludwig also facilitated a interactive workshop on the Rio Changemakers initiative. This session gathered actionable insights and strategic perspectives from key stakeholders across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region as this science-led, AI-enabled marketplace takes shape.
