📌 Our participation in the 2026 RSE & IDD Summit

Rio Impact had the pleasure of participating in the 10th edition of the RSE & IDD Summit, organized by Innoveo in Antananarivo on July 2 and 3.

📢 A decade of transformation

This anniversary edition marks a turning point. Indeed, over ten years, corporate social responsibility shifted from an emerging subject to a shared language among businesses, institutions, and civil society.

Priorities have evolved. Rather than coming to gather information, participants now seek to structure their commitments, measure their impact, and access concrete solutions.

Furthermore, the Summit’s results confirm this trend. Sustainable and responsible financing tops expectations for the years ahead. 97% rated it favorably.

💡 The workshop: credibility and trust

Rio Impact and Innoveo co-organized a workshop dedicated to private sector engagement for biodiversity in Madagascar, covering biodiversity credits, carbon credits, payments for ecosystem services, and ecological compensation.

The goal was to open concrete dialogue with businesses, institutions, and conservation actors about the conditions needed to develop credible mechanisms, useful for RSE/ESG strategies, and adapted to the Malagasy context.

🎯 What emerged from the discussions

As a result, the exchanges, enriched by the presence of Madagascar National Parks, FAPBM Madagascar, and Fondation Tany Meva, confirmed an encouraging dynamic.

Interest is real. However, trust must rest on solid foundations: clear governance, robust impact measurement, independent verification, legible legal framework, and transparency.

🌍 A lever for Madagascar

Biodiversity, climate, and economic resilience are tightly linked in Madagascar. Consequently, these mechanisms can become genuine levers, mobilizing new financing for ecosystems, territories, and communities.

Thanks and perspectives

Thank you to Innoveo for the trust and partnership. Additionally, thank you to all private sector participants and to representatives from MNP, FAPBM, and Dorsch Impact GmbH for their engagement in this process.

Moreover, Rio Impact supports organizations in structuring credible environmental financing mechanisms. Our approach covers biodiversity, carbon, territories, and ESG strategies.
