Rio Impact provided its expertise in climate finance to a regional project implemented by GIZ to promote Climate-smart land use in Southeast Asia. In April 2021, Rio Impact conducted two training sessions with stakeholders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) including government representatives. In particular, the training aimed to enable participants to understand modalities to access climate finance for climate-smart land use initiatives and to become familiar with the steps to design climate finance projects at the national and regional levels.
