Ludwig Liagre delivered a two-days training on synergies between Rio conventions (CBD, UNCCD, UNFCCC) organized by the Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energies in the framework of the bilateral GIZ Project “Environmental Governance and Biodiversity”. +40 participants including the Rio conventions focal points built their capacities to work more efficiently on seizing synergies between biodiversity, land and climate issues. They identified transformative projects at the synergies between Rio conventions and discussed options for sustainable financing. The training programme can be found here.
